When it comes to planning for clients and his family, Tony Luckhardt knows that it should feel simple, even if there is a lot more going on behind the scenes. For Tony, creating peace of mind, coupled with pursuing purpose, has always driven his career and life. Whether it was launching a financial career with clear goals in mind, obtaining the designations and skills it takes to be a true expert in the field, or planning for his family in a purposeful way, Tony has always done the legwork to create clarity amongst complexity.
This mindset transfers over into how Tony interacts with clients as a Financial Planner at Foster & Motley. His preparation and skill-set is always highly valued by those he works with. He had a ten-year career with Fidelity Investments prior to joining Foster & Motley, where he worked in a variety of roles, focusing on investment and retirement planning. He also completed his MBA degree with a finance concentration at Xavier University while working at Fidelity, and obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) designation and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation.
When he joined Foster & Motley in 2007, he was drawn to the collegial, client-centered environment. He became a shareholder in 2012 and cites the fact that his parents and brother have both become Foster & Motley clients as just one example of how tight-knit and trustworthy the firm is.
Tony has been recognized in many other ways, including being named to a national publication’s “Top 40 Under 40”, a list of the top 40 up-and-coming independent financial advisors under the age of 40, chosen as a member of the Leadership Northern Kentucky Class of 2012, and named a Kentucky Colonel in 2012.
Tony’s family lives in his native Northern Kentucky with his wife Tara, their twin daughters Alexa and Elissa, and son Aidan. They all stay busy being outdoors and traveling to the Luckhardt Family Farm in Warsaw, Kentucky. Tony has spent over ten years coaching his kids’ soccer teams. He would like to travel more with his family, and just as he does with his clients, he is building clear plans with his family so that they can spend time doing more of what they love.
